Importers of Cars from Japan

Listed here are Japanese car importers and garages and motor-dealers in the United Kingdom that offer used Japanese cars for sale. Go to the EXPORTERS PAGE if you want to view companies that export used cars direct from Japan to the United Kingdom.

Prices from Importers are usually (but not always) quoted to include all costs associated with importing the Japanese car. Basically, you will pay the advertised price and drive the car away. There is likely to be a warranty period, and some dealers will even throw in six months road tax.

Prices therefore are considerably higher, as they need to include all costs plus the importers' own markup. There are still bargains to be found, and you may decide the saving in hassle and time, plus the warranty and being able to deal with a seller in the UK makes it worthwhile to purchase a Japanese Imported Car like this.

A common term for cars imported legally and sold in this way is the "Grey Market".
